Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems within a manufacturing setting. The role involves executing capital projects, installing and dismantling equipment, and performing a range of maintenance tasks across the facility.

The position requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 8–10 hour shifts with overtime and weekends as needed. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related maintenance experience.
• Preferred: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding and boiler experience.
• Mechanical background with rotating equipment; hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance.
• Start machines and observe operation to determine efficiency and detect problems.
• Inspect or test damaged machine parts and advise repairs.
• Lubricate machines and apply materials per procedures.
• Install, replace, or change machine parts per production specs.
• Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, cranes, or hoists.
• Record maintenance information and read work orders.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
• Transport machine parts between work areas and storage.
• Clean machines and parts; discard worn parts and refuse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
