Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician in Chandler, AZ. You will support the Maintenance Manager by performing general upkeep and repairs to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable community for residents.

Responsibilities include responding to resident requests, performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural tasks, and handling exterior duties such as irrigation and roofing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to follow directions and perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Capable of following direction to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Work outside on exterior tasks including irrigation, tree and vegetation needs, pool maintenance (if applicable), hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
