Job summary

RealManage Elevated Onsite in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Onsite Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, manage work orders, and oversee preventive maintenance for common areas and amenities.

The role requires hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related trades, plus strong leadership and communication to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained properties. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in building or facilities maintenance.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, building controls, carpentry, drywall, painting, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience directing or supervising maintenance employees.
• Ability to plan staffing, manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the maintenance team, including assigning work, setting expectations, monitoring performance, and providing coaching.
• Develop and manage technician schedules for routine operations, projects, emergencies, and after-hours needs.
• Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of maintenance staff.
• Ensure work orders, inspection records, preventive maintenance schedules, inventory records, timekeeping, and reports are accurate and timely.
• Plan and oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for common elements.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; oversee onsite work and report concerns.
• Schedule municipal and regulatory inspections and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain common-area amenities and oversee custodial services and inventory.
