Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; skilled with hand/power tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to apply logic to diagnose and solve problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant units and pre-move-in inspections.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and buildings to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by service staff and contractors for quality and safety.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate supplies within budget; work with Community Manager on orders.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance as outlined in policy.
• Assist Community Manager in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance; keep MSDS sheets current.
