Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a service team across 250+ units. You will manage daily maintenance tasks, supervise technicians, and ensure safety and standards are met on site in New York. The role includes financial oversight and coordination with Property and Community Managers.

On-site work with a 100% rent discount for the apartment. Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, plus leadership experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing service teams for 250+ units.
• Hands-on maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, PTAC.
• 3+ years leading and coaching a service team.
• Fiscal oversight over property service management: expenses and inventory.
• Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Community Manager to achieve property objectives.
• Lead a team that follows Equity standards and handles resident requests.
• Assist in performing maintenance and preparing market-ready apartments.
• Provide financial reporting and budget adherence; suggest cost-saving measures.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager on capital improvements and inventory control.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and prepare status reports.
