Job summary

Mach10 Solutions seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead our manufacturing operations on the production floor. This hands-on role mentors a maintenance team, drives equipment reliability, and heads facility-wide improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines leadership with technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, PLC, VFD, pneumatic, conveyor, and automated systems to minimize downtime and sustain peak performance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role in industrial maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on maintenance in manufacturing.
• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Electrical troubleshooting expertise.
• PLC & VFD programming/diagnostics experience.
• Experience with automated production machinery.
• Preventative and predictive maintenance knowledge.
• CMMS operation and data management experience.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Experience with metal fabrication a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize in a high-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical and workplace safety protocols.
• Willing to work hands-on with technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and guidance to the plant maintenance department.
• Coach, train, and mentor team members on technical skills.
• Be on the shop floor to assist with complex equipment issues.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, automation, PLC, VFD, and pneumatic systems.
• Improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Use CMMS to track work orders, history, and metrics.
• Analyze recurring issues to implement permanent fixes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and downtime.
• Lead equipment availability and production-output initiatives.
• Manage equipment lifecycle from installation to removal.
• Ensure assets are production-ready and aligned with schedules.
• Oversee maintenance projects from planning through execution.
• Maintain optimal spare parts inventory levels.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review maintenance KPIs for continuous improvement and lean alignment.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and broader CI initiatives.
• Keep shop and fabrication areas clean and organized.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and regulations.
• Assist with general facility and grounds upkeep as needed.
