Job summary

Gainwell Technologies LLC in West Sacramento seeks a Mail Room Team Lead to manage a high-volume mail operation, including receiving, sorting, scanning, and distributing documents. This hands-on leadership role combines directing daily activities with practical processing support to meet production goals.

You will train staff, monitor quality and service levels, maintain security and HIPAA compliance, and ensure operations stay organized and on schedule in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mail room, document processing, or high-volume operations.
• Previous team lead or supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily mail room workflow across receiving, sorting, opening, preparing, scanning, routing, and distributing high volumes.
• Guide and support mail clerks, scanners, production clerks, and other team members, including training.
• Monitor production volumes, quality, inventory, and service levels; report discrepancies to management.
• Ensure materials are received, processed, and delivered accurately within SLAs.
• Maintain a secure, organized work environment and handle confidential information per privacy and HIPAA rules.
• Partner with supervisors to address workflow issues and assist with mail processing as needed.
