Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience, Required
• 1 year or more in experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment., Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations
• Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers for optimal shift logistics
• Accountable for site KPI
• Work with customers in all aspects of operations
• Meet with team members to monitor progress, coach and recognize successes
• Promote diversity and inclusion and improve internal processes
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend rewards or merit increases
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process
• Implement health & safety and security initiatives and ensure compliance
• Provide orientation for employees and Lead Hands to perform their jobs
