Job summary

Ryder in Rialto, CA is seeking a Supervisor to lead day-to-day logistics, ensuring safety and efficiency while aligning with customer expectations. You will coach and develop teams, drive engagement, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
0 to 1 year of direct supervisory/leadership experience, required.
1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer specs.
Establish work schedules and coordinate activities for optimal shift performance.
Manage site KPI and performance metrics.
Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback, coaching and recognition.
Promote Diversity and Inclusion and streamline internal processes.
Conduct performance evaluations and manage awards/raises as appropriate.
Address performance issues through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
Implement health & safety and security initiatives and ensure policy adherence.
Provide orientation and necessary resources to employees and leads.
