Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking a Logistics Specialist in South San Francisco, CA to manage end-to-end shipment, receiving, inventory control and documentation for hazardous materials and clinical drug products. This onsite role requires adherence to SOPs, regulatory standards, and quality expectations, with routine use of RF scanners and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and inventory control concepts.
• IATA certification and experience with international shipping documentation preferred.
• Ability to pass TSA background check and CCSP requirements.
• Experience operating warehouse material-handling equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process hazardous materials, R&D materials, and shipments, including international paperwork.
• Receive and dispense finished goods, WIP, and components to/from manufacturing facilities.
• Pick, pack, and ship finished clinical drug products domestically and internationally.
• Process rejected, returned, or expired drug products for destruction.
• Coordinate and schedule product destruction with approved sites.
• Maintain drug product inventory control system and accuracy of records.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and reconcile results.
• Operate material-handling equipment and maintain a safe workspace.
• Support SOPs and participate in training new team members.
