Job summary

Crossroads Courier, Inc. in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to coordinate job orders for independent driver contractors while ensuring exceptional customer service and on-time delivery performance.

This fast-paced role supports the Nationwide division and requires strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills. On-site work with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with benefits including health and vision insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service, dispatch, and/or logistics experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatching/scheduling software.
• Ability to work independently and make timely decisions.
• Flexibility to work overtime as operational needs require.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers via phone and email.
• Dispatch and assign job orders to independent driver contractors.
• Prepare and schedule next-day deliveries and routes based on priorities and driver availability.
• Communicate with drivers regarding special delivery instructions and routing.
• Apply ancillary charges and post routes in the CXT system.
• Manage driver activations and deactivations within the system.
• Complete daily scheduled coverage reports for management review.
• Reassign routes and resolve scheduling conflicts as needed.
• Report driver and customer issues to Driver Support and Operations Management.
• Gather, verify, and enter order information into the system.
• Provide support across multiple divisions based on operational needs.
