Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA in Miami seeks a DDP (Per Diem Disputes) Clerk to handle invoicing for demurrage and detention, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate logs. You will learn MSC systems while supporting customer service and internal teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This on-site position requires five days in the office, with no remote option, and offers comprehensive health and travel benefits. Strong English and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Advanced English written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates and updates invoices for charges related to demurrage and detention using MSC systems and third-party tools.
• Handles disputes, requests, refunds, and communicates solutions to customers.
• Posts payments and releases at terminal/Exam websites with accuracy.
• Logs waivers, disputes, and statements; maintains logs timely.
• Provides excellent customer service via phone and email; builds positive relationships.
• Coordinates with internal teams to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals and deadlines.
