Job summary

Intuit seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide tax expertise, client advisory, and local market growth in designated TurboTax locations across the United States. You will conduct tax preparation, discovery sessions, and community outreach to build a trusted local presence.

You will engage with clients both in person and via Intuit video tools, aiming to maximize refunds and future tax planning while promoting Intuit ecosystem products.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development and any company requirements.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert per Intuit policies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for the future.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador to grow a local customer base and be a local face of TurboTax.
• Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem by connecting clients to complementary Intuit solutions.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience, in-person and via video tools.
