Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking a Service Technician II focused on Life Safety Services within the Vallen Safety Services Group. You will install and/or inspect, test, and maintain life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, performing testing and inspections, and providing on-site ITM and installation support with attention to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 2 certifications (manufacturing/state) in a fire protection related field.
• Fire Alarm & Ext A 1-3 years experience or WBS Construction 1-3 years experience.
• RME-I certification (if applicable).
• Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on skills.
• Proficient with hand tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls and site inspections.
• Test and inspect Life Safety Systems per standards.
• Troubleshoot on-site emergencies and perform ITM tasks.
• Install Life Safety Systems and verify documentation for invoicing.
• Maintain documentation and provide customer service related to ITM and installation.
