Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. is hiring an Onsite Technician I for Life Safety Services. The role focuses on installing, inspecting, testing and maintaining life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

You will perform service calls, on-site troubleshooting, and regulatory-compliant maintenance while documenting Technician worksheets. Strong mechanical aptitude and a valid driver's license are required; CDL may be needed for hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to handle hand tools.
• Current Motor Vehicle License with a good driving record.
• CDL if transporting hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test and maintain Life Safety Systems and equipment at customer sites.
• Perform on-site service calls, troubleshooting and regulatory-compliant maintenance.
• Prepare accurate Technician worksheets and reports.
• Assist in shipping/receiving and support warehouse as needed.

Skills

Mechanically inclined

Valid driver's license

Ability to read/write English

Offshore readiness (if applicable)

Education

High School or GED

1 fire-protection related certification
