Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America in Boise, ID is seeking a Life Safety Systems Construction Manager to lead the onsite electrical team and coordinate MEP startup activities. The role reports to the Electrical Project Manager and collaborates with design professionals, clients, and trades to ensure successful project delivery.

The position is fully onsite at the Boise project site, with a salary range of $90,000 to $140,000 DOE plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years electrical construction experience required.
• Experience with industrial/hi-tech facilities and live operation environments preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and project-management software.
• Ability to read construction documents and CSI specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for field leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical subcontractors and ensure installation schedules and startup readiness.
• Coordinate MEP startup activities with other trades and design team.
• Review documentation and ensure construction readiness for startup.
• Lead field training for client personnel on MEP operation and maintenance.
• Support estimating and staffing for electrical projects.
• Manage subcontractor contracts and buyouts; handle changes as needed.
