Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America in Boise, Idaho, seeks an Electrical Field Superintendent to lead on-site supervision of low voltage electrical construction on large hi-tech facilities. You will coordinate with project teams, manage subcontractors, RFIs, and QA/QC, and ensure safety and schedule adherence.

This role requires at least five years in low voltage construction, a civil/electrical/construction management degree, and proficiency with Procore, AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years minimum in low voltage electrical construction.
• Experience on large industrial and hi-tech fabrication projects preferred.
• OHSA 30 Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Education in materials and methods of low voltage electrical construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage RFIs and submittal materials for review with client/Architect.
• Oversee cost control and QA/QC program.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Resolve design and constructability issues.
• Interact with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
