Job summary

KB Home is seeking a dynamic New Home Sales Counselor to meet with prospective buyers, present the benefits of our newly constructed homes, and close sales to create satisfied customers.

The role requires a local real estate license, previous sales experience (new home sales preferred), and excellent verbal and written communication; you’ll work onsite at a community and may host events and conduct presentations to attract brokers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current local Real Estate license required.
• Previous sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred.
• Experience using social media to drive sales traffic strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide literature and information.
• Respond to requests for information and follow up on inquiries.
• Demonstrate models, homes, and sites; discuss floor plans and options.
• Overcome objections and close sales; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Receive offers and refer financing questions to our preferred lender (KBHS).
• Document sales transactions and monitor loan applications; follow up on cancellations.
• Generate new prospects through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up.
• Host grand openings and community events; keep marketing materials updated.
