Job summary

KB Home is seeking a New Home Sales Counselor in California to meet prospective buyers, present the benefits of our newly constructed homes, and close sales to create satisfied customers.

The role requires a Real Estate license, sales experience, and strong communication. You will travel between communities, work evenings/weekends, and be on-site in the field. Base pay is $60,000 per year plus commission, with total earnings typically $125,000–$175,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred.
• Current local Real Estate license required.
• Experience using social media to drive sales traffic strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide literature and information.
• Respond to customer requests for information.
• Demonstrate models and discuss floor plans and options.
• Overcome objections and close the sale.
• Refer financing questions to KBHS.
• Document sales and monitor loan applications.
• Follow up with buyers weekly until close.
• Maintain sales models and community cleanliness.
• Keep marketing materials updated and ready for distribution.
• Generate new prospects through networking and referrals.
• Use CMA and data-driven tools to sell homes.
• Contact brokers and present to attract them.
• Host grand openings and community events.
