Job summary

Greystar seeks a Leasing Specialist in Washington, DC to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for a residential community. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and secure move-ins, ensuring a positive resident experience.

You will monitor market conditions, develop marketing plans, and use OneSite/Yardi to track availability and data. A flexible schedule including evenings/weekends and a valid driver’s license for golf carts is required.

Qualifications

• Greet and qualify prospects, tour apartments, process applications, and screen credit/criminal background checks.
• Coordinate lease signing, move-in packages, and ensure smooth resident onboarding.
• Develop short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Follow policies on concessions and programs to boost occupancy.
• Record traffic and leasing data using property management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Inspect units and coordinate maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.
• Stay informed on market conditions to adjust marketing strategies.
• Create and drive traffic through online and on-site marketing efforts.
• Follow up with prospects and renewing residents to maximize renewals.
• Manage lease renewals and ensure timely signing of documents.
• Address resident questions promptly and document requests.
