Job summary

SSW Advanced Technologies, LLC is seeking an Onsite Production Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing activities ensuring cost, quality, and quantity targets are met. The role involves leading a team, improving processes using Lean Manufacturing principles, and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations.

The candidate will mentor supervisors and drive continuous improvement across production and maintenance areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in lean manufacturing principles and practices, with optional training in Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for data analysis, communication, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor supervisors and team leads for continuous improvement.
• Basic understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive results, manage resources effectively, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, or coordinate work activities and resources for manufacturing products according to cost, quality, and quantity specs.
• Ensure continuous improvement maintenance of production equipment.
• Schedule repairs; coordinate internal or external repair bodies.
• Inform management about new technological developments and propose improvements in manufacturing machining.
• Lead employees, conduct performance appraisals, and support training and development.
