Job summary

MAST Technologies in San Diego, CA is seeking an Sr. Operations Manager to lead day-to-day production, safety and facilities operations. You will align with leadership, quality, supply chain and engineering to drive continuous improvement and performance metrics.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong Lean experience, 10–15 years of relevant work, and the ability to manage production staff, schedules and capital projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop production teams.
• Experience implementing Lean/continuous improvement across operations.
• Ability to align production, safety and facilities with corporate goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production, safety and facilities operations.
• Lead production leads or supervisors and develop team capabilities.
• Drive Lean initiatives to improve cost, quality and efficiency.
• Schedule and prioritize production to meet OTD and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/AQMD and maintain safe work environment.
• Collaborate with planning, sales and warehouse to support customer requests.
• Manage capital projects and review routers for manufacturing processes.
