Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Lead Patient Access Coordinator (Lead PAC) to supervise high-volume clinics and coach a team of PACs. You will lead daily front-office operations, ensure workflow adherence, optimize schedules, and drive patient-centered service.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and experience with EMR and scheduling/payments systems. This position offers full-time hours with onsite leadership coverage across the Odessa site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years PAC or comparable healthcare front office experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR, scheduling platforms, and payment systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAC duties: check-in/check-out, documentation accuracy, POS collections, schedule management, and patient experience tasks.
• Serve as onsite front-office lead for daily workflow and staffing awareness.
• Provide real-time coaching and training to PACs to ensure adherence to standards.
• Monitor schedule utilization and visit volume; collaborate with clinicians to optimize scheduling.
• Ensure >98% compliance on Patient Check-in Checklist and maintain front office readiness.
• Escalate issues to clinic leadership promptly and professionally.
• Support compliance audits and revenue-cycle workflows such as insurance verification and follow-up.
• Provide coverage for PAC duties as needed.
