Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years’ customer-facing experience.
• Associates degree with 4+ years’ customer-facing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ customer-facing experience.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as first-line supervisor to team members and provide coaching, performance reviews, regular 1 on 1 meetings and administrative functions.
• Lead the Laboratory Support Coordinator (LSC) team to ensure uninterrupted service and drive operational excellence through resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with GxP guidelines and proper process documentation.
• Coordinate training of all Lab Support Coordinators (LSC).
• Plan and coordinate team coverage to meet customer needs and operational metrics (PTO, Sick).
• Liaise between on-site staff and management to escalate critical issues.
• Attend floor/building oversight meetings and facilitate LSC meetings.
• Participate in interview panels for LSC hires.
• Plan and execute continuous improvement projects within the LSC team (Six Sigma Belts or 5S projects).
• Perform other reasonable duties as deemed necessary.
