Job summary

cloudIT is hiring an Onsite Systems Administrator in Boise to provide hands-on IT support at client sites across the Treasure Valley. You will diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, while assisting our senior engineers and NOC with escalations.

The role requires 2–4 years in IT, strong Windows/macOS and networking skills, and a valid driver's license. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT support experience (field, onsite, or MSP experience is a big plus).
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, servers, and networks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, server, and network issues at client sites.
• Respond to onsite emergencies like outages and failed equipment.
• Install and configure Windows and Mac workstations, servers, switches, firewalls, access points, phones, and UPS units.
• Maintain cabling, racks, labeling, and cleanup in server rooms and network closets.
• Mentor Tier 1 technicians and assist project teams on site.
