Weir in Portland, OR is seeking an on-site End-User IT Support specialist to keep our campus running smoothly. You'll handle hardware, software, and installations, with a focus on Windows 10/11 and Dell hardware, across a busy corporate environment.

You will use ServiceNow to manage requests, travel 2–3 times per year to other sites, and uphold our zero-harm safety culture while delivering excellent user support and service quality.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience in desktop and hardware support within a Windows 10/11 environment.
• Proficiency with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems.
• Customer-service mindset with the ability to work effectively across a large campus environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on IT support for hardware, software, desktop troubleshooting, and equipment installations primarily at the Portland campus, ensuring smooth daily operations for end users.
• Independently diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Dell hardware, Windows 10/11 environments, printers, and network connectivity, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Utilize ServiceNow ticketing system to manage, track, and resolve support requests efficiently, maintaining high customer service standards.
• Occasionally travel (2-3 times per year) to other company locations to provide IT support and ensure consistent service delivery across sites.
• Achieve high user satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution, contributing to a reliable IT environment that supports business productivity.
