Slipstream Life Sciences is seeking an Onsite Deskside Support specialist in South San Francisco, CA to deliver expert on-site IT support for executives and end users. You will set up and maintain desktops, peripherals, and meeting room tech, while supporting Microsoft 365 apps and AV systems.

The role requires experience with on-site support, VIP user care, and familiarity with ITIL practices, ticketing systems, and incident escalation.

Qualifications

• Experience in on-site deskside or similar IT support roles.
• Ability to provide professional, customer-focused support to executives or VIP users.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and desktop hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with Zoom Rooms and conference room AV tech.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and user account administration.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts, ticketing systems, incident management, and escalation procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site IT support with responsive, white-glove service to executives, VIPs, and end users.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and support desktops, peripherals, and end-user devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Maintain meeting/conference room tech (Zoom Rooms, AV equipment, displays).
• Resolve password resets and account lockouts per security procedures.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, implement solutions, escalate when needed.
• Document incidents, steps, resolutions, and follow-ups in the ticketing system.
• Perform proactive maintenance and infrastructure support activities (patches, backups).
• Communicate incident status and expected resolution timelines to stakeholders.
• Maintain technical documentation and review recurring incidents for efficiency.
