Job summary

Maersk in Charlotte, NC is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our North America IT team. This onsite role provides hands-on technical support to employees, maintains workplace technology, and supports local infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Global Service Desk and vendors while delivering an excellent end-user experience. The ideal candidate has strong Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 knowledge, experience with desktop hardware and printers, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience providing onsite IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and end-user devices.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, LAN.
• ITIL knowledge is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for incidents and service requests requiring physical intervention.
• Support laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, meeting room technology, and related peripherals.
• Deliver high-quality support for Microsoft 365, Windows environments, standard applications, and workplace technology.
• Manage hardware lifecycle activities, including deployment, inventory management, refresh, repair coordination, and decommissioning.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of networking, Wi‑Fi, LAN connectivity, cabling, and local infrastructure components.
• Support technology deployments, office moves, upgrades, and other local IT projects.
• Provide professional support to employees at all levels, including executive and VIP stakeholders, while ensuring clear communication and follow-through.
