Pearson Carter is seeking an IT Support Technician for an on-site role in Portland, OR. The initial 6-month contract offers an immediate start with a W2 arrangement, handling hardware and desktop support in a busy corporate environment.

The ideal candidate will provide hands-on desktop support, configure and troubleshoot laptops, and collaborate with the global IT team across locations while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT support or desktop support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to work onsite in Portland, Oregon.

Responsabilités

• Provide onsite IT and desktop support to end users.
• Support Windows 10/11 environments.
• Configure, deploy and troubleshoot laptops and other IT hardware.
• Commission and decommission laptops and IT equipment.
• Prepare hardware for new starters and departing employees.
• Assist with shipping, receiving and collecting IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and desktop-related issues.
• Support the wider global IT team and collaborate with teams across multiple locations.
• Maintain a high level of customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently.
