Job summary

Shield Healthcare is seeking an IT Support Technician II for its Valencia, CA location. The role requires hands-on help desk experience, strong Windows expertise, and excellent customer service to resolve hardware, software, and access issues on-site.

Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, device deployment, ticketing, and coordinating with IT Security. Candidates must live within commuting distance or relocate at their own expense; relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on Help Desk Windows PC support.
Strong knowledge of Windows 11, MS Office 365, Exchange, and basic networking.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working independently and in a team; strong communication and customer service.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support for end users including hardware, software, and access issues.
Assist users with onboarding and offboarding, including deploying and collecting hardware.
Investigate and document complex issues escalated by Level 1 support.
Maintain and update user accounts and permissions across systems.
Document and track requests and resolutions using the ticketing system.
Coordinate with IT Security and perform root-cause analysis.
