Job summary

Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, Inc. is hiring an IT Support Technician for our Johnstown, PA facility. You will provide hands-on and remote IT support, manage end-user devices, and assist with security compliance across our defense-related programs.

The role requires 2+ years in IT operations, experience with Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and active involvement in cybersecurity standards (CMMC, NIST SP 800-171). Onsite work in Johnstown with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related technical discipline required.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, certifications, military training, and experience may be considered.
• Relevant certifications desirable (Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco).
• Minimum two years of IT operations, endpoint administration, help desk, or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical support for computers, mobile devices, apps, peripherals, and authentication.
• Document, track, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents and service requests.
• Install/configure/deploy/maintain company devices and peripherals throughout their lifecycle.
• Assist with Microsoft Intune and end-user device management.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID identity and MFA/SSO workflows.
• Support GCC High Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Support Windows endpoints and Cloud PC provisioning; assist with security baselines and OS updates.
• Assist with network printing, workflow, and enterprise printing environments.
• Support IT security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR).
• Onsite IT support at Johnstown facility; assist with moves, upgrades, and incident response.
