Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense - Kahr Bearing is seeking an IT Systems Technician to provide onsite Windows-based support for endpoints, printers, and collaboration systems. The role spans Level 1 and Level 2 tasks, including manufacturing-system endpoints and shop-floor connectivity.

The candidate will manage deployments, troubleshoot issues, document actions, and contribute to IT service improvements in a hands-on, cross-functional setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support in office and manufacturing environments is required.
• Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting desktops, printers, and workstations.
• Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking.
• Ability to manage actions, updates, and documentation with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 1 and 2 support for hardware and business applications.
• Image, configure, deploy, and maintain computers, monitors, peripherals, and other endpoint equipment.
• Prepare and validate technology for new hires, moves, conferences, and production areas.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and basic network issues (wired/wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Support Microsoft 365, Teams phones, and conference-room technology.
• Support shop-floor technologies and production endpoints; assist with manufacturing apps.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software records, and documentation.
• Own tickets and project actions from intake to closure.
• Coordinate with IT teams, stakeholders, vendors; assist with cybersecurity controls and audits.
