Job summary

The HT Group is seeking a part-time IT Support Specialist in Durham, NC to provide in-person and remote technical support for about 32 hours per week, with potential expansion to 40 hours as workload dictates. This role supports macOS and Windows, with Linux occasionally, and will work with an international team across Google Workspace and Azure SSO.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years IT support or internship experience in a business setting.
• Hands-on macOS and Windows support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote technical support to employees, including leadership.
• Triage, document, and resolve requests using Jira and other channels.
• Configure and troubleshoot Mac and Windows devices; occasional Linux support.
• Support device enrollment with Jamf and Intune; manage user accounts in AD and access controls.
• Assist with Google Workspace consolidation and continue Microsoft 365 and Azure SSO usage.
• Maintain and check conference room AV equipment; prepare for leadership meetings.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding; setup devices and access; track assets.
