Job summary

Lendz Financial is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to serve as the primary onsite technology resource for our Fort Lauderdale office. You will resolve technical issues, maintain office technology, and provide responsive support across the organization.

As the sole onsite IT member, you’ll assess requests, prioritize urgent needs, and coordinate with the remote IT team to route requests and support system rollouts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience troubleshooting operating systems, business applications, user accounts, hardware, printers, and network connectivity.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar issues, research solutions, and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
• Experience prioritizing tickets and escalating when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication for nontechnical staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests.
• Knowledge of access controls, endpoint security, and handling of sensitive information.
• Willingness to work fully in office and provide hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite IT resource and first contact for IT tickets, assessing requests and prioritizing urgent needs.
• Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, connectivity, accounts, and authentication issues.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, phones, and other office equipment.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, including device setup and access changes.
• Troubleshoot wired/wireless connectivity and conference room equipment.
• Assist employees with business applications and mortgage technology platforms.
• Coordinate with remote IT team for escalations and system rollouts.
• Maintain records of support requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
• Identify recurring problems and propose process improvements.
• Provide practical training to help employees use technology effectively.
