Job summary

optimalnetworks is seeking a Deskside Support Specialist to go on-site with clients in the Washington DC metropolitan area, addressing a wide range of computer issues and user management tasks. The role supports Windows/macOS, Office 365, Active Directory, and other tools, with a focus on delivering courteous, efficient service and documenting resolutions in the ITSM system.

Candidates should have 2+ years in a service/help desk, a high school diploma or GED, and certifications such as CompTIA

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
CompTIA A+ or Microsoft MS-900 certification.
2+ years of service/help desk experience.
Experience in a MSP environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle customer technical support cases via phone and email.
Maintain client satisfaction through professional, courteous service.
Provide end-user support for devices: desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners.
Support Windows and MacOS desktops.
Support MS Office, POS systems, accounting software, etc.
Manage user administration: Active Directory, MFA (Azure AD, Okta).
Support cloud SaaS: Microsoft 365, Windows365, etc.
Resolve problems and coordinate with staff for persistent issues.
Document actions and time in ITSM system.
