Job summary

Computer Transition Services, Inc. seeks a dedicated IT Desktop Specialist to support clients with software and hardware needs in Amarillo, with training at our Lubbock HQ during the first 90 days. You will handle on-site and remote support, track tickets, and maintain records in ConnectWise.

This role requires CJIS background clearance and a strong customer-service approach. The position offers a 40-hour week with some after-hours work, competitive hourly pay, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of IT triage/help desk experience.
• Experience with MSP environments is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma required; Technical/2-year degree required in Applied Science or Computer Tech.
• Possession of IT certifications such as MS900, AZ900, and CompTIA A+ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support calls and assist clients both remotely, in-office, and on-site.
• Work bi-weekly rotation of in-office phone and ticket support and on-site client projects.
• Track and ensure timely response to on-site support calls.
• Maintain records and expense accounts using systems like ConnectWise.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Foster positive client relations and uphold company standards.
