Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking an IT Onsite Support Specialist to provide hands-on Level 2 IT support at Tucson site. You will be the local extension of Global IT, resolving hardware/software issues, maintaining devices, printers, and meeting-room tech, and assisting onboarding/offboarding.

You will work with Windows, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and networking basics, coordinating with remote teams and vendors as needed to ensure site readiness.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT support or desktop support.
• Experience providing onsite enterprise IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, and workplace tech.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow, and asset management processes.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and CMDB principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 onsite support for hardware, software, connectivity, mobile devices, printers, meeting rooms, and workplace technology.
• Resolve incidents and service requests via ServiceNow and document tickets clearly.
• Maintain site IT readiness for end-user devices and local tech.
• Perform hands-on activities for Global IT teams: installation, replacement, troubleshooting, cabling, rack/stack, reboots.
• Manage IT assets and inventory including deployment, stock and audits.
• Support onboarding/offboarding by deploying and securing IT equipment.
• Coordinate with remote IT teams and vendors for complex issues.
• Support IT projects, site surveys, moves, and other onsite activities.
• Maintain knowledge articles and seek process improvements.
