Job summary

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an IT Support & Microsoft 365 Specialist for an established, technology-driven organization in the financial services industry. This is a temporary, 100% onsite position in Austin, Texas, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. The IT Support & Microsoft 365 Specialist will provide Level 1 and 2 support while assisting with Microsoft 365 and identity administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of IT support experience with Level 1/2 support.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience supporting Windows computers and end-user hardware for onsite and remote employees.
• Familiarity with Entra ID/Azure Active Directory and identity management.
• Understanding of MFA, licensing, and access changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; documentation experience.
• Exposure to Intune, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive; PowerShell preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming requests through Zendesk and Jira; resolve Level 1/2 issues and escalate complex problems with detailed steps.
• Provide hands-on hardware and end-user support; assist with device audits, inventory, and office moves.
• Create, update, and deactivate user accounts in Entra ID; assign Microsoft 365 licenses and access.
• Resolve password and MFA issues; support self-service password reset enrollment and approvals.
• Administer settings and troubleshoot across Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune enrollment.
• Maintain knowledge-base articles and runbooks; document resolutions and recurring issues.
