Job summary

Milliman’s Casualty IT Support team seeks an on-site Intern to assist with end-user IT support in Brookfield, WI. You will handle tickets, install hardware/software, and contribute to knowledge base and audits during the 2026-27 school year, averaging 10–30 hours per week.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an IT/CS degree, comfortable with Windows 10/11, O365, and AI tools, and able to lift and relocate equipment as needed. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft software solutions, plus hardware (desktop, laptop, printers, conferencing equipment) in professional settings.
• Knowledge of Windows 11 and O365 environment.
• Experience using AI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub for projects or coursework.
• Interest in emerging AI technologies and their applications in IT operations and automation.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming tickets and requests from local and remote users.
• Resolve technical issues promptly and research incidents with attention to detail.
• Prioritize tickets based on urgency and information provided.
• Create, update, and review technical process documentation.
• Contribute to IT knowledge base and assist with audits.
• Physically install and configure new hardware/software and perform hardware refreshes.
• Provide A/V support for in-office meetings.
• Communicate clearly with end-users and follow procedures.
• Assist with onboarding and training on new software and equipment.
