Job summary

Milliman in Omaha, NE seeks a part-time Information Technology Support Intern to assist end-user support, hardware and software setup, and documentation. The role runs September through December 2026 with a potential extension and up to 29 hours per week on-site.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have basic Windows, Office 365, and TCP/IP knowledge, plus a willingness to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a collaborative IT environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree; recent graduates considered.
• Part-time availability up to 29 hours per week at the Omaha office Sept–Dec 2026.
• On-site IT support interest or experience with helpdesk tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides Helpdesk support for end-user systems, including hardware, software, networking, and telecommunications.
• Prioritize tickets based on urgency and available information.
• Research and troubleshoot issues; document solutions clearly.
• Physically install and configure new hardware, software, and systems.
• Relocate and configure existing equipment; must lift up to 30 lbs.
• Provide guidance to users on operating new software and equipment.
• Create, update, and review IT documentation; contribute to knowledge base.
• Perform work on-site in the Milliman Omaha, Nebraska office.
