Job summary

Slipstream Life Sciences is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist in San Diego to deliver deskside hardware support, manage software installs, and assist end users across the organization.

You will handle L1 tickets, coordinate with vendors, and support onboarding and offboarding, ensuring asset records and lifecycle processes are maintained. A strong customer-service orientation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience providing on-site deskside IT support.
• Proficiency in handling L1 helpdesk tickets.
• Experience with software installation/uninstallation.
• Experience with asset lifecycle and inventory management.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site deskside technical support for end-user hardware and devices.
• Handle and resolve L1 tickets within SLA.
• Provide application support for approved software.
• Uninstall and reinstall approved software per change control procedures.
• Support onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and imaging.
• Coordinate with Service Desk agents and third-party vendors.
• Provide first-line support for meeting-room, conference-room, printer, display, and related office tech; escalate as needed.
• Assist workspace readiness for new hires and office transitions.
• Execute asset lifecycle and onsite inventory activities; maintain records in asset systems.
• Provide operational coordination and service reporting for onsite activity.
