Job summary

Virginia Department of Veterans Services seeks a Technical Support Analyst 3 to provide on-site desktop, hardware, software, network, and end-user support at the PVCC in Warrenton, VA. The role covers ~200 IT devices and occasional support to regional DVS offices.

The assignment is 100% onsite with travel up to ~20% and reimbursement of travel expenses. Requires McAfee, Acrobat, and other business software experience; background checks and residency in the United States are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with McAfee Anti-Virus Software and Adobe Acrobat.
• 3+ years of experience setting up, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting PC desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and related peripherals.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, browsers, antivirus software, and business applications.
• 3+ years of experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting mobile devices.
• 3+ years of experience with IT inventory control and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience providing IT staff or end-user training in person or via electronic media.
• 3+ years of experience configuring analog and digital phone systems.
• 3+ years of experience installing, administering, troubleshooting, and training for computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, applications, phones, and network equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, browsers, antivirus software, and business apps.
