Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an IT Service Technician to deliver onsite IT support for a federal customer in El Paso, TX. The role requires obtaining several certifications within six months, and may involve occasional travel for site coverage.

You will work with ServiceNow tickets, perform routine maintenance, patch OS, and ensure data security on all devices. Responsibilities include remote support for telework users, VPN/Citrix access, asset inventory, on-site wiring, and escalation to network/security

Qualifications

• Strong technical proficiency with problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call support via ServiceNow and resolve tickets.
• Interact with network services, systems engineering, and applications development to restore service.
• Perform routine system maintenance and hardware configuration updates.
• Install OS patches via SCCM Software Center.
• Provide remote support for telework/home users.
• Ensure devices are encrypted and secure.
