Job summary

GovCIO is recruiting an IT Service Technician to provide onsite support in San Antonio, TX. The role requires obtaining A+, ITIL Foundation, HDI certification and one of Security+, Network+, or Server+ within six months, with certification costs reimbursed by GovCIO.

Responsibilities include on-site system maintenance, network/servers operations, and supporting enterprise groups, with occasional site coverage travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 0-3 years experience
• US Citizenship
• Strong technical proficiency
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support and consult with support teams, help desks, customers and other staff
• Coordinate and perform operation/maintenance for networks/servers
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain a variety of products and equipment
• Provide on-call support via the ServiceNow ticketing system
• Offer remote support for telework/home users and ensure VPN/Citrix access
• Manage device encryption, inventory, and disposal processes
• Collaborate with enterprise teams for repairs and system modifications
• Assist in setting up video conferencing and presentation devices
