Job summary

Frey Consulting Group seeks an IT/OT Systems Engineer I to serve as the primary onsite technology resource for an Oelwein facility, supporting both IT infrastructure and OT systems essential to manufacturing operations.

The role requires hands-on IT experience across desktops, networks, servers, and OT environments, working with enterprise teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and end-user technologies.
• Hands-on networking fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration.
• Experience supporting PCs, printers, and IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and endpoint devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Support Windows-based systems, Active Directory, and user access.
• Assist with workstation deployments, imaging, and asset management.
• Support local servers and virtual environments.
• Coordinate with OT/ops teams to resolve tech issues.
• Document procedures, configurations, and support records.
