Job summary

Booth & Associates in Summerville, SC is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to install, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and support software and systems that run our operations. You will work with the IT Manager to research solutions to IT issues that arise within the company.

This position will be in-office. You will travel occasionally to company offices to provide onsite support, equipment deployment, and project assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Networking or related field.
• At least 2 years of applicable experience in IT support.
• Ability to manage timelines and resolve tickets efficiently.
• Familiarity with help desk software such as EasyVista; remote access tools a plus.
• Experience supporting Windows server environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively resolve software and hardware issues across multiple offices.
• Administer and support Windows and engineering software versions.
• Provision and deploy workstations, user accounts, and applications.
• Maintain safety standards and good practices in the workplace.
• Manage IT inventory and coordinate hardware repairs.
• Travel occasionally to company offices for onsite support and deployments.
• Understand networking fundamentals and handle core networking issues onsite.
• Communicate professionally with employees and clients to diagnose issues.
• Maintain and monitor computer networks and document warranties and guides.
• Create SOPs for IT team and employees; assist in training materials.
