Job summary

Insight, a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator, is hiring a Services Technician Sr for our Fort Worth, TX office. The role centers on installing, testing, and servicing systems and communications equipment on-site, with responsibility for hardware, software configuration, and network devices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or 3-4 years related experience or equivalent combination.
Experience with LANs, WANs, PCs, messaging and server software.
High technical proficiency in microcomputer product areas.
Familiarity with large account environments and protocols.
Working knowledge of Windows 2000/NT/XP.

Responsibilities

Install and test system hardware at customer site, configure and test to ensure proper operation.
Complete service-call documentation for accurate billing and warranty returns.
Resolve software configuration problems and diagnose hardware issues at workstation level.
Install, test, and configure network and data communication equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPN devices.
