Location: Hanover Park, IL or Fort Worth, TX

Salary: $20 an hour for first shift

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, modification, repair, testing, and servicing of systems and communications equipment, including hardware, peripherals, software configuration, voice/video/data cabling, and networks.
• Identify system hardware problems and determine efficient, cost‑effective solutions.
• Perform necessary hardware and peripheral repairs, keeping client downtime to a minimum.
• Install and test system hardware at customer sites, including setup and verification, and identify any hardware problems.
• Complete all required documentation for service calls to ensure accurate billing and timely return of defective products or parts.
• Understand current depot programs such as Hot Swap and AR3D and participate as needed.
• Position yourself for career advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• IT related certificate or diploma from a recognized post‑secondary institution.
• 2–5 years troubleshooting related experience and/or IT customer service experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service and problem‑solving skills.
• Must possess A+ certification.
• MCSE, MCP designation or other certifications are an asset.
• ITIL Foundations designation is an asset.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Remedy is an asset.
