Job summary

The George E. Booth Co. is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our in-person team in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports day-to-day technical help for hardware and software, interfaces across levels, and requires ERP software knowledge with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a technically related field (plus).
• Two years’ related experience in company information technology preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to use software suites and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily performance of computer systems.
• Provide assistance with hardware and software issues, including printing, email, and OS.
• Set up equipment for employees and install appropriate software.
• Diagnose problems and provide technical assistance and support.
• Answer user inquiries regarding software and hardware operations.
• Install and repair hardware/software per specifications.
• Consult with staff to determine system requirements and modifications.
• Record daily data communications and remedial actions.
• Develop training materials and train users on hardware/software.
