Job summary

The George E. Booth Co. in Evansville, IN, is hiring a full-time Field Service Technician to service industrial process control instrumentation, gas detection systems and valves.

The role requires travel with overnight stays and on-call duty, and prefers experience in Food & Beverage, Chemical, Water/Wastewater or GMP environments. You will perform startup, calibration, repair and maintenance, diagnose root causes, and communicate technical information clearly to customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' related experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays (50%).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, calibrate, repair and maintain industrial process control instrumentation, gas detection and valves.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment problems and develop permanent solutions.
• Read and interpret technical documentation and prepare summaries in writing and orally.
• Train customers and teammates as needed and share technical information clearly.
• Submit field service reports, calibration certificates, and timesheets on time.
• Operate safely and work independently or in a team in a GMP environment.
